1946 Ford Convertible
So the other day I needed to fill the 46 up with fuel ,
so it was either fill up a fuel can and
do a few trips or drive across to the Service Station
down the road a 100 yards.
So I chose to drive it over, a bit illegal but it was
only a 100 yards away (grin)
The number or license plate is from my plate collection
Anyway the 46 now has a full tank of gasoline or 98 petrol.
Yes the Ford COE is mine but is for sale
I had been trying to work out a system of strengthening
the rear upper seat belt mount but I had
to wait until everything was in place to see what room was
left, you see the ram well below that is
a 5mm x 75mm flat strap, it goes from black to cream near
the top. it attaches at the top with
an angled bracket.
and then attaches to the cast iron B pillar support
bracket. it misses the rams by about 1/8".
It gets very busy in that area with the top irons, windows
and front seat belts.
So after all that it was time to get the rear quarter
windows aligned with the door windows.90% done.
